Does implant surgery hurt?
It is done under local anaesthesia, so you should not feel pain during the procedure. Some swelling or soreness for a few days afterwards is normal.
How long do implants last?
With good brushing, flossing and regular check-ups, implants can last many years. Smoking and uncontrolled diabetes can reduce their success.
Should I choose an implant or a bridge?
A bridge needs the teeth on either side to be trimmed. An implant stands on its own and helps preserve the jaw bone. We explain both at your consultation.
How long does the whole process take?
